1. Who can play

These terms apply to the Chop app for iPhone and the Chop website, together “Chop”. Chop is for people aged 18 and over. By playing you confirm you are 18 or older.

2. Tokens have no cash value

Tokens are virtual items used only inside Chop. They cannot be cashed out, sold, transferred for money or exchanged for prizes. Chop is a card game played for entertainment with play tokens and does not offer real-money gambling.

3. Purchases

Some items, such as emblems and calling cards, can be unlocked with tokens. Tokens and items may also be offered for real money through the Apple App Store when that becomes available. Real-money purchases are not available on the website. Payment is handled by Apple. Purchases are final unless Apple or the law says otherwise, and refunds are handled by Apple. Virtual items may be changed or removed with notice.

4. Play fair

Do not cheat, use bots, exploit bugs, harass other players, or use offensive names. Table chat is limited to preset quick phrases and emoji; free-text messaging is not available. You can report and block players inside the app. We may mute, suspend or remove accounts that break these rules, and tokens on a removed account are lost.

5. Your account

On the iPhone app you can play as a guest or sign in with Apple. On the website you create an account with an email address and password. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts made on the website and in the app are separate. You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting it permanently removes your profile, tokens and purchases from Chop.

6. Changes and availability

Chop is provided as is. We may change or stop the game, and we may update these terms. Continuing to play after an update means you accept it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
